창세기 27 : 1 - 이삭이 야곱을 축복함 이삭이 나이들어 눈이 어두워서 보지 못할 때에 자기의 맏아들 에서를 불러 그에게 이르되, 내 아들아, 하매 그가 그에게 이르되, 보소서, 내가 여기 있나이다, 하거늘 And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.
창세기 25 : 8 - 아브라함의 죽음 그때에 아브라함이 숨을 거두니라. 그가 나이가 충분히 들어 늙고 햇수가 차서 죽어 자기 백성에게로 거두어지매 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years, and was gathered to his people.
