창세기 38 : 7 - 유다와 다말 유다의 맏아들 엘이 주의 눈앞에 사악하므로 주께서 그를 죽이시니 And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him.
창세기 19 : 18 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 롯이 그들에게 이르되, 오 내 주여, 그리하지 마옵소서. And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
창세기 19 : 8 - 소돔의 사악함 이제 보라, 내게 남자를 알지 않은 두 딸이 있노라. 원하건대 내가 그들을 너희에게로 데리고 나가리니 너희는 너희 눈에 좋은 대로 그들에게 행하고 이 남자들은 내 지붕 그늘 아래로 들어왔은 즉 그런 까닭에 그들에게 아무 일도 하지 말라, 하매 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
창세기 19 : 5 - 소돔의 사악함 그들이 롯을 부르며 그에게 이르되, 이 밤에 네게 온 남자들이 어디 있느냐? 그들을 우리에게로 데려오라. 우리가 그들을 알리라, 하니 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
창세기 19 : 2 - 소돔의 사악함 이르되, 이제 보소서, 내 주(主)들이여, 원하건대 돌이켜 당신들의 종의 집으로 드어와 온밤을 묵고 발을 씻고 일찍 일어나 당신들의 길을 가소서, 하니 그들이 이르되, 아니라. 우리가 거리에서 온 밤을 지내리라, 하니라. And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
창세기 19 : 1 - 소돔의 사악함 저녁때에 두 천사가 소돔에 이르렀는데 마침 롯이 소돔의 문에 앉았다가 그들을 보고는 일어나 그들을 맞이하고 얼굴을 땅에 대고 절하며 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
창세기 13 : 13 - 아브람이 가나안을 상속함 그러나 소돔 사람들은 사악하여 주 앞에 극심한 죄인들이었더라. But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.
