There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 창세기 31 : 36 - 라반이 야곱을 추격함 야곱이 노하여 라반을 나무라며 라반에게 응답하여 이르되, 내 범법이 무엇이니이까? 내 죄가 무엇이기에 외삼촌께서 이같이 분개하여 내 뒤를 따라오셨나이까? And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast so hotly pursued after me? 창세기 26 : 10 - 이삭과 아비멜렉 아비멜렉이 이르되, 네가 우리에게 행한 이 일이 도대체 무엇이냐? 백성 중의 하나가 네 아내와 쉽게 누울 수 있었으니 네가 우리에게 죄를 가져 올 뻔하였도다, 하고 And Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done unto us? one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest have brought guiltiness upon us. 창세기 20 : 9 - 아브라함과 아비멜렉 그때에 아비멜렉이 아브라함을 불러 그에게 이르되, 네가 우리에게 무슨 일을 행하였느냐? 내가 무슨 일로 네게 죄를 지었기에 네가 나와 내 왕국 위에 큰 죄를 가져왔는냐? 네가 마땅히 하지 말아야 할 일들을 내게 행하였도다, 하고 Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done. 창세기 20 : 6 - 아브라함과 아비멜렉 하나님께서 꿈에 그에게 이르시되, 참으로 네가 순전한 마음으로 이 일을 행한 줄을 내가 아노라. 나 역시 너를 막아 내게 죄를 짓지 아니하게 하였나니 이런 까닭에 네가 그녀에게 손대는 것을 내가 허락하지 아니하였노라. And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. 창세기 18 : 20 - 아브라함이 소돔을 위해 중보함 주께서 또 이르시되, 소돔과 고모라에 대한 부르짖음이 크고 그들의 죄가 심히 중하므로 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; 창세기 4 : 7 - 가인과 아벨 네가 잘 행하면 너를 받지 아니하겠느냐? 그러나 네가 잘 행하지 아니하면 죄가 문에 엎드려 있느니라. 그의 열망이 네게 있으리니 너는 그를 다스릴 것이니라. 하시니라.
