And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee. 창세기 31 : 10 - 야곱이 라반을 피해 도망함 가축이 수태할 때에 내가 눈을 들어 꿈에 보니, 보라, 가축 위에 탄 숫양들은 줄무늬 있는 것과 점 있는 것과 회색 얼룩진 것이더라. And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled. 창세기 31 : 8 - 야곱이 라반을 피해 도망함 그가 이같이 말하기를, 점 있는 것이 네 품삯이 되리라, 하면 모든 가축이 점 있는 것을 낳았고 또 그가 이같이 말하기를, 줄무늬 있는 것이 네 품삯이 되리라, 하면 모든 가축이 줄무늬 있는 것을 낳았으니 If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstraked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked. 창세기 30 : 40 - 야곱이 라반과 약속을 맺음 야곱이 어린양들을 분리하고 그 양 떼의 얼굴을 라반의 양 떼 중에서 줄무늬 있는 것과 갈색인 모든 것을 향하게 하며 또 자기 양 떼를 따로 두어 그것들이 라반의 가축에 들게 하지 아니하였더라.
