창세기 37 : 33 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 그가 그것을 알아보고 이르되, 그것은 내 아들의 옷이라. 악한 짐승이 그를 잡아먹었도다. 의심할 바 없이 요셉이 갈기갈기 찢겼도다, 하며 And he knew it, and said, It is my son's coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.
창세기 37 : 20 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 그런즉 이제 오라, 우리가 그를 죽여 어떤 구덩이에 던지고 말하기를, 어떤 악한 짐승이 그를 잡아먹었다, 하자. 그의 꿈들이 어떻게 되는지 우리가 보리라, 하매 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
창세기 34 : 23 - 디나 사건 그들의 가축과 재산과 그들의 모든 짐승이 우리 것이 되지 아니하겠느냐? 다만 우리가 그들에게 동의하자. 그리하면 그들이 우리와 함께 거하리라, 하니라. Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of theirs be ours? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us.
창세기 31 : 39 - 라반이 야곱을 추격함 짐승에게 물려 찢긴 것은 외삼촌에게로 가져기지 아니하고 내가 그것의 손실을 담당하였으며 낮에 도둑을 맞았든지 밤에 도둑을 맞았든지 외삼촌께서 내 손에서 그것을 요구하셨나이다. That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night.
창세기 9 : 10 - 인류를 향한 하나님의 약속 너희와 함께하는 모든 살아 있는 창조물 즉 너희와 함께하는 날짐승과 가축과 땅의 모든 짐승과 더불어 세우리니 곧 방주에서 나가는 모든 것에서부터 땅의 모든 짐승에 이르기까지니라. And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
창세기 9 : 5 - 인류를 향한 하나님의 약속 내가 반드시 너희 생명의 너희 피를 요구하리니 모든 짐승의 손에서 그것을 요구할 것이요, 사람의 손에서 곧 각 사람의 형제의 손에서 사람의 생명을 요구하리라. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
창세기 9 : 2 - 인류를 향한 하나님의 약속 땅의 모든 짐승과 공중의 모든 날짐승과 땅 위에서 움직이는 모든 것과 바다의 모든 물고기가 너희를 두려워하고 너희를 무서워하리니 내가 그것들을 너희 손에 넘겨주었노라. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
창세기 8 : 20 - 창조물에 대한 하나님의 언약 노아가 주께 제단을 쌓고 모든 정결한 짐승과 모든 정결한 날짐승 중에서 취하여 제단 위에 번제 헌물을 드렸더니 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
