창세기 35 : 14 - 야곱이 벧엘로 돌아감 야곱이 그분께서 자기와 말씀하시던 곳에 기둥 곧 돌기둥을 세우고 그 위에 음료 헌물을 부으며 또 그 위에 기름을 붓고 And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.
창세기 22 : 13 - 아브라함의 믿음 재확인 아브라함이 눈을 들어 살펴보니, 보라, 뿔이 덤블에 걸린 숫양 한 마리가 자기 뒤에 있으므로 아브라함이 가서 그 숫양을 가져다가 자기 아들을 대신하여 번제 헌물로 드렸더라. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
창세기 22 : 8 - 아브라함의 믿음 재확인 아브라함이 이르되, 내 아들아, 하나님께서 자신을 번제에 쓸 어린양으로 마련하실 것이라, 하고 이처럼 그 두 사람이 함께 가서 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering; so they went both of them together.
창세기 22 : 7 - 아브라함의 믿음 재확인 이삭이 자기 아버지 아브라함에게 말하여 이르되, 내 아버지여, 하니 그가 이르되, 내 아들아, 내가 여기 있노라, 하매 그가 이르되, 불과 나무를 보시거니와 번제 헌물로 쓸 어린양은 어디 있나이까? 하니 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
창세기 22 : 6 - 아브라함의 믿음 재확인 아브라함이 번제 헌물에 쓸 나무를 취하여 자기 아들 이삭에게 지게 하고 자기는 불과 칼을 손에 들고 그들 두 사람이 함께 가더라. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
창세기 4 : 5 - 가인과 아벨 가인과 그의 헌물에는 관심을 갖지 아니하였으므로 가인이 몹시 분을 내고 그의 얼굴빛이 변하니라. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
창세기 4 : 4 - 가인과 아벨 아벨도 자기 양 떼의 첫 새끼들과 그것들의 기름 중에서 가져왔는데 주께서 아벨과 그의 헌물에는 관심을 가지셨으나 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
창세기 4 : 3 - 가인과 아벨 시간이 흐른 뒤에 가인은 땅의 열매 중에서 주께 헌물을 가져왔고 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
