창세기 24 : 42 - 이삭의 신부 내가 이 날 우물에 이르러 말하기를, 오 주 곧 나의 주인 아브라함의 하나님이여, 만일 주께서 나의 가는 길을 형통하게 하실진대 And I came this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go:
창세기 24 : 27 - 이삭의 신부 이르되, 주 곧 나의 주인 아브라함의 하나님을 찬송할지로다. 그분께서 나의 주인에게 자신의 긍휼과 자신의 진리가 끊어지지 않게 하셨으며 내가 길에 있을 때에 주께서 나를 인도하사 나의 주인의 형제들의 집에 이르게 하셨도다, 하니라. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitue my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD let me to the house of my master's brethren.
창세기 19 : 2 - 소돔의 사악함 이르되, 이제 보소서, 내 주(主)들이여, 원하건대 돌이켜 당신들의 종의 집으로 드어와 온밤을 묵고 발을 씻고 일찍 일어나 당신들의 길을 가소서, 하니 그들이 이르되, 아니라. 우리가 거리에서 온 밤을 지내리라, 하니라. And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
창세기 18 : 33 - 아브라함이 소돔을 위해 중보함 주께서 아브라함에게 말씀하시기를 마치고 즉시 자신의 길로 가시니 아브라함도 자기 처소로 돌아갔더라. And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
창세기 18 : 19 - 아브라함이 소돔을 위해 중보함 이는 내가 그를 알기 때문이라. 그가 자기 자녀들과 자기 뒤에 있을 자기 집안사람들에게 명령할 터인즉 그들이 주의 길을 지켜 정의와 판단의 공의를 행하리니 이로써 주가 아브라함에 관하여 말한 것을 친히 그에게 이루리라, 히시고 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
창세기 16 : 7 - 하갈과 이스마엘 주의 천사가 광야의 물 샘 옆에서 곧 수르로 가는 길에 있는 샘 옆에서 그녀를 찾아내어 And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.
창세기 14 : 11 - 롯이 포로가 되었다가 구출됨 그들이 소돔과 고모라의 모든 재물과 그들의 모든 양식을 빼앗아 자기 길로 가고 And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.
창세기 12 : 19 - 아브람이 이집트로 내려감 네가 어찌하여, 그녀를 내 누이라, 하였느냐? 내가 그녀를 취해 내 아내로 삼을 뻔하였도다. 그런즉 이제 네 아내를 보고 그녀를 데리고 네 길로 가라, 하며 Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.
