창세기 41 : 37 - 요셉이 권좌에 앉음 그 일이 파라오의 눈과 그의 모든 신하들의 눈에 좋게 보이므로 And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.
창세기 34 : 11 - 디나 사건 세겜도 그녀의 아버지와 오라비들에게 이르되, 내가 너희 눈에 은혜를 입게 하라. 너희가 내게 말하는 것을 내가 주리니 And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give.
창세기 33 : 10 - 야곱이 에서를 만남 야곱이 이르되, 아니니이다. 이제 내가 형의 눈앞에서 은혜를 입었사오면 원하건대 내 손에서 내 예물을 받으소서. 이런 까닭으로 내가 형의 얼굴을 뵌즉 하나님의 얼굴을 뵌 것 같사오며 형도 나를 기뻐하셨나이다. And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.
창세기 33 : 5 - 야곱이 에서를 만남 에서가 눈을 들어 여인들과 아이들을 보고 이르되, 너와 함께한 저 사람들은 누구냐? 하니 그가 이르되, 하나님께서 주의 종에게 은혜로 주신 아이들이니이다, 하매 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.
창세기 33 : 1 - 야곱이 에서를 만남 야곱이 눈을 들어 보니, 보라, 에서가 사백 명과 함께 오므로 그가 아이들을 나누어 레아와 라헬과 두 여종에게 맡기되 And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.
창세기 29 : 17 - 야곱이 레아와 라헬과 결혼함 레아는 눈이 약하였으나 라헬은 아름답고 잘 생겼더라. Leah was tender eyed: but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured.
창세기 27 : 1 - 이삭이 야곱을 축복함 이삭이 나이들어 눈이 어두워서 보지 못할 때에 자기의 맏아들 에서를 불러 그에게 이르되, 내 아들아, 하매 그가 그에게 이르되, 보소서, 내가 여기 있나이다, 하거늘 And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.
창세기 24 : 64 - 이삭의 신부 리브가가 눈을 들어 이삭을 보고는 낙타에서 내렸으니 And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel.
