창세기 41 : 52 - 요셉이 권좌에 앉음 둘째 아들의 이름은 에브라임이라 하였으니 이는 하나님께서 나로 하여금 내가 고난 받은 땅에서 다산하게 하셨다, 하였기 때문이더라. And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
창세기 35 : 11 - 야곱이 벧엘로 돌아감 하나님께서 그에게 이르시되, 나는 하나님 곧 전능자니라. 다산하고 번성하라. 민족과 민족들의 무리가 네게서 나고 왕들이 네 허리에서 나오리라. And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
창세기 28 : 3 - 이삭이 야곱을 라반에게 보냄 하나님 곧 전능자께서 네게 복을 주셔서 너를 다산하게 하고 번성하게 하사 네가 수많은 백성이 되게 하시고 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
창세기 26 : 22 - 이삭과 아비멜렉 그가 거시서 옮겨가서 다른 우물을 팠더니 그들이 그것으로 인해 다투지 아니하였으므로 그가 그 우물의 이름을 르호봇이라 하고 이르되, 이제 주께서 우리를 위해 자리를 만드러 주셨은즉 그 땅에서 우리가 다산하리라, 하였더라. And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.
창세기 17 : 20 - 할례의 표적 이스마엘로 말하건대 내가 네 말을 들었나니, 보라, 내가 그에게 복을 주었으며 또 그를 다산하게 하고 심히 번성하게 하리라. 그가 열두 통치자를 낳으리니 내가 그를 큰 민족으로 만들리라. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee; Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
창세기 17 : 6 - 언약의 재확인 내가 너를 심히 다산하게 하며 너로부터 민족들을 만들고 또 너에게서 왕들이 나오게 하리라. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
창세기 9 : 7 - 인류를 향한 하나님의 약속 너희는 다산하고 번성하며 땅에서 풍성히 내고 그 안에서 번성하라, 하시니라. And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
창세기 1 : 28 - 하나님의 6일 특별 창조 하나님께서 그들에게 복을 주시고 하나님께서 그들에게 이르시되, 다산하고 번성하여 땅을 다시 채우라. 땅을 정복하라. 또 바다의 물고기와 공중의 날짐승과 땅 위에서 움직이는 모든 생물을 지배하라, 하시니라. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
