And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; 창세기 27 : 29 - 이삭이 야곱을 축복함 백성들이 너를 섬기고 민족들이 네게 절하리니 네가 네 형제들의 주가 되고 네 어머니의 아들들이 네게 절하며 너를 저주하는 자는 다 저주를 받고 너를 축복하는 자는 복을 받기를 원하노라, 하니라. Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee. 창세기 26 : 4 - 이삭과 아비멜렉 또 네 씨를 하늘의 별들같이 번성하게 하고 이 모든 지역을 네 씨에게 주리니 네 씨 안에서 땅의 모든 민족들이 복을 받으리라. And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries: and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; 창세기 25 : 23 - 이삭의 세대들 주께서 그녀에게 이르시되, 두 민족이 네 태 속에 있노라. 두 종류의 백성이 네 배 속에서부터 나누어지리라. 한 백성이 다른 백성보다 강하겠고 형이 동생을 섬기리라, 하시니라. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed: because thou hast obeyed my voice. 창세기 21 : 18 - 하갈과 이스마엘이 쫓겨남 일어나 아이를 일으켜 네 손으로 붙들라. 내가 그를 큰 민족으로 만들리라, 하시니라.
