창세기 19 : 33 - 롯의 후손: 암몬과 모압 그 밤에 그들이 자기들의 아버지에게 포도주를 마시게 하고 맏딸이 들어가 자기 아버지와 함께 누우니라. 그는 그 딸이 언제 눕고 언제 일어났는지 알지 못하였더라. And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
창세기 19 : 5 - 소돔의 사악함 그들이 롯을 부르며 그에게 이르되, 이 밤에 네게 온 남자들이 어디 있느냐? 그들을 우리에게로 데려오라. 우리가 그들을 알리라, 하니 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
창세기 19 : 2 - 소돔의 사악함 이르되, 이제 보소서, 내 주(主)들이여, 원하건대 돌이켜 당신들의 종의 집으로 드어와 온밤을 묵고 발을 씻고 일찍 일어나 당신들의 길을 가소서, 하니 그들이 이르되, 아니라. 우리가 거리에서 온 밤을 지내리라, 하니라. And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
창세기 14 : 15 - 롯이 포로가 되었다가 구출됨 그들을 대적하려고 밤에 직접 자기와 자기 종들을 나누어 그들을 치고 다마스쿠스 왼쪽에 있는 호바까지 그들을 쫓아가서 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
