And the son of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter; which thing ought not to be done. 창세기 32 : 32 - 야곱이 새 이름을 받음 그가 오그라든 힘줄에 붙은 야곱의 넓적다리의 우묵한 곳에 손을 대었으므로 그런 까닭에 이스라엘 자손이 이 날까지 넓적다리의 우묵한 곳에 있는 오그라든 힘줄을 먹지 아니하느니라. Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrank. 창세기 32 : 29 - 브니엘: 야곱이 새 이름을 받음 야곱이 그에게 물어 이르되, 원하오니 당신의 이름을 말해 주소서, 하매 그가 이르되, 어찌하여 네가 내 이름을 묻느냐? 하고 그가 거기서 그를 축복하므로 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. 창세기 32 : 28 - 브니엘: 야곱이 새 이름을 받음 그가 이르되, 네 이름을 다시는 야곱이라 하지 아니하고 이스라엘이라 하리니 이는 네가 통치자로서 하나님과 견주며 사람들과 견줄 능력이 있어 이겼기 때문이니라, 하니라.
