창세기 42 : 13 - 요셉의 형들이 이집트로 내려감 그들이 이르되, 주의 종들은 열두 형제로서 가나안 땅에 있는 한 사람의 아들들이니이다. 보소서, 막내는 이 날 우리 아버지와 함께 있고 또 한 명은 없어졌나이다, 하매 And they said, Thy servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is not.
창세기 42 : 11 - 요셉의 형들이 이집트로 내려감 우리는 다 한 사람의 아들들로서 진실한 자들이오며 주의 종들은 정탐꾼이 아니니이다, 하니라. We are all one man's sons; we are true men, thy servants are no spies.
창세기 42 : 10 - 요셉의 형들이 이집트로 내려감 그들이 그에게 이르되, 내 주여, 아니니이다. 주의 종들은 단지 양식을 사러 왔나이다. And they said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are thy servants come.
창세기 39 : 19 - 요셉이 이집트로 팔려감 그의 주인이 자기 아내가 자기에게 말하여 이르기를, 당신의 종이 내게 이런 식으로 행하였다, 하므로 그 말들을 들을 때에 진노하니라. And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying After this manner did thy servant to me; this his wrath was kindled.
창세기 39 : 17 - 요셉이 이집트로 팔려감 그녀가 이 말들로 그에게 말하여 이르되, 당신이 우리에게 데려온 히브리 종이 나를 희롱하려고 내게로 들어오기에 And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brougth unto us, came in unto me to mock me:
창세기 33 : 14 - 야곱이 에서를 만남 원하건대 내 주는 주의 종보다 앞서 가소서. 나는 내 앞에 가는 가축들과 아이들이 견딜 수 있는대로 부드럽게 인도하여 마침내 세일로 가서 내 주께 가리이다, 하매 Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.
창세기 33 : 5 - 야곱이 에서를 만남 에서가 눈을 들어 여인들과 아이들을 보고 이르되, 너와 함께한 저 사람들은 누구냐? 하니 그가 이르되, 하나님께서 주의 종에게 은혜로 주신 아이들이니이다, 하매 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.
창세기 32 : 20 - 에서가 야곱을 치려고 옴 또 너희는 덧붙여 이르기를, 보소서, 주의 종 야곱이 우리 뒤에 있나이다, 하라, 하니 이는 그가 말하기를, 내가 내 앞에 보내는 예물로 그를 달랜 뒤에 그의 얼굴을 보면 그가 혹시 나를 받아주리라, 하였기 때문이더라. And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me.
