But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes; the LORD judge between me and thee. 창세기 16 : 3 - 하갈과 이스마엘 아브람의 아내 사래가 자기 하녀 이집트 사람 하갈을 데려다가 자기 남편 아브람에게 주어 그의 아내가 되게 한 때는 아브람이 가나안 땅에 거한 지 십 년이 지난 뒤였더라. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her.
