창세기 32 : 9 - 에서가 야곱을 치려고 옴
야곱이 또 이르되, 오 내 조상 아브라함의 하나님, 내 아버지 이삭의 하나님이여, 주께서 전에 내게 말씀하시기를, 네 고향 네 친족에게 돌아가라. 내가 너를 선하게 대하리라, 하셨나이다. And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Issac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:

또, 보라, 주께서 그 위에 서서 이르시되, 나는 주니 곧 네 조상 아브라함의 하나님이요, 이삭의 하나님이니라. 네가 누운 땅을 내가 너와 네 씨에게 주리니 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
