And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord: 창세기 19 : 17 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 그 남자들이 그들을 밖으로 데리고 나아간 뒤에 그가 이르되, 네 생명을 건지기 위해 도피하라. 너는 네 뒤를 돌아보거나 이 온 평야에 머무르지 말고 산으로 도피하라. 네가 소멸될까 염려하노라, 하니 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. 창세기 19 : 16 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 그가 망설이매 그 남자들이 그의 손과 그의 아내의 손과 두 딸의 손을 잡았더라. 주께서 그에게 긍휼을 베푸셨으므로 그들이 그를 데리고 나아가 그 도시의 밖에 두니라. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon this hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. 창세기 19 : 15 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 아침이 되매 그 천사들이 롯을 재촉하여 이르되, 일어나 여기 있는 네 아내와 두 딸을 데리고 가라. 이 도시의 불법 가운데서 네가 소멸될까 염려하노라, 하였으나 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. 창세기 19 : 14 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 롯이 나가서 자기 딸들과 결혼한 사위들에게 말하여 이르되, 주께서 이 도시를 멸하실 터이니 너희는 일어나 이곳을 떠나라, 하였으나 그의 사위들은 그를 농담하는 자로 여겼더라. And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city.
