창세기 48 : 20 - 이스라엘이 요셉의 아들들을 축복함 그 날 그들을 축복하며 이르되, 네 안에서 이스라엘이  축복하여 말하기를, 하나님께서 너를 에브라임 같고 므낫세 같게 하시리라, 하리라, 하여 에브라임을 므낫세보다 앞에 두었더라. And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall  Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
창세기 48 : 19 - 이스라엘이 요셉의 아들들을 축복함 그의 아버지가 거절하며 이르되, 나도 안다, 내 아들아, 나도 안다. 그도 한 백성이 되고 그도 크게 되려니와 진실로 그의 동생이 그보다 더 크게되며 그의 씨가 여러 민족을 이루리라, 하고 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
창세기 48 : 18 - 이스라엘이 요셉의 아들들을 축복함 자기 아버지에게 이르되, 내 아버지여, 그리하지 마옵소서. 이 아이가 맏아들이니 아버지의 오른손을 그의 머리에 얹으소서, 하매 And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.
창세기 48 : 17 - 이스라엘이 요셉의 아들들을 축복함 요셉이 자기 아버지가 오른손을 에브라임의 머리에 얹은 것을 보고는 그것을 기뻐하지 아니하여 자기 아버지의 손을 에브라임의 머리에서 므낫세의 머리로 옮기려고 그것을 들며 And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head.
창세기 48 : 16 - 이스라엘이 요셉의 아들들을 축복함 곧 나를 모든 악에서 구속하신 천사께서 이 아이들에게 복을 주시고 그들이 내 이름과 내 조상 아브라함과 이삭의 이름으로 불리게 하시오며 또 그들이 땅의 한가운데서 자라나 한 무리가 되게 하시기를 원하나이다, 하니라. The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.
창세기 48 : 15 - 이스라엘이 요셉의 아들들을 축복함 그가 요셉을 축복하며 이르되, 내 조상 아브라함과 이삭이 걷는 것을 보신 하나님, 이 날까지 나의 전 생애 동안 나를 먹이신 하나님 And he blessed Joseph, and said God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,
창세기 48 : 14 - 이스라엘이 요셉의 아들들을 축복함 므낫세가 맏아들이므로 이스라엘이 의도적으로 자기 손을 유도하여 오른손을 내밀어 동생인 에브라임의 머리에 얹고 왼손을 내밀어 므낫세의 머리에 얹었더라. And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim's head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh's head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.
창세기 48 : 13 - 이스라엘이 요셉의 아들들을 축복함 오른손으로는 에브라임을 취해 이스라엘의 왼손을 향하게 하고 왼손으로는 므낫세를 취해 이스라엘의 오른손을 향하게 하며 그들을 데리고 그에게 가까이 가매 And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel's left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel's right hand, and brought them near unto him.
