And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him. 창세기 42 : 7 - 요셉의 형들이 이집트로 내려감 요셉이 자기 형들을 보고 그들을 알았으나 그들에게 낯설게 행하며 그들에게 거칠게 말하고 또 그들에게 이르되, 너희가 어디에서 왔느냐? 하매 그들이 이르되, 양식을 사려고 가나안 땅에서 왔나이다, 하니라. And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food. 창세기 42 : 6 - 요셉의 형들이 이집트로 내려감 요셉은 그 땅의 총독이 되어 그 땅의 온 백성에게 파는 일을 하였는데 요셉의 형들이 와서 그 앞에서 얼굴을 땅에 대고 엎드려 절하니 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth. 창세기 42 : 5 - 요셉의 형들이 이집트로 내려감 이스라엘의 아들들이 곡식을 사러 온 자들 가운데 있었으니 이는 가나안 땅에 기근이 있었기 때문이더라.
