창세기 17 : 20 - 할례의 표적 이스마엘로 말하건대 내가 네 말을 들었나니, 보라, 내가 그에게 복을 주었으며 또 그를 다산하게 하고 심히 번성하게 하리라. 그가 열두 통치자를 낳으리니 내가 그를 큰 민족으로 만들리라. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee; Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
창세기 17 : 16 - 할례의 표적 내가 그녀에게 복을 주어 그녀로부터도 네게 아들을 주리라. 참으로 내가 그녀에게 복을 주리니 그녀가 민족들의 어머니가 되고 백성의 왕들이 그녀에게서 나리라, 하시니라. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
창세기 14 : 19 - 멜기세덱과 아브람 그가 아브람을 축복하여 이르되, 하늘과 땅의 소유주 되시는 지극히 높으신 하나님의 아브람에게 복이 있을지어다. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
창세기 12 : 2 - 아브람을 향한 하나님의 약속 내가 너로부터 큰 민족을 만들고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 크게 하리니 네가 복이 되리라. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
창세기 5 : 2 - 아담의 세대들 그분께서 그들을 남성과 여성으로 창조하시고 그들을 창조하시던 날에 그분께서 그들에게 복을 주시며 그들의 이름을 아담이라 부르시니라. Male and female created th them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
창세기 2 : 3 - 안식일 제정 하나님께서 일곱째 날을 복 주시고 거룩히 구별하셨으니 이는 그 날에 하나님께서 친히 창조하며 만든 자신의 모든 일에서 떠나 안식하셨기 때문이더라. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
창세기 1 : 28 - 하나님의 6일 특별 창조 하나님께서 그들에게 복을 주시고 하나님께서 그들에게 이르시되, 다산하고 번성하여 땅을 다시 채우라. 땅을 정복하라. 또 바다의 물고기와 공중의 날짐승과 땅 위에서 움직이는 모든 생물을 지배하라, 하시니라. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
창세기 1 : 22 - 하나님의 6일 특별 창조 하나님께서 그것들에게 복을 주시며 이르시되, 다산하고 번성하여 바다의 물들을 채우고 날 짐승은 땅에서 번성하라, 하시니라. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
