창세기 19 : 16 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨

그가 망설이매 그 남자들이 그의 손과 그의 아내의 손과 두 딸의 손을 잡았더라. 주께서 그에게 긍휼을 베푸셨으므로 그들이 그를 데리고 나아가 그 도시의 밖에 두니라^[각주:1].

 

And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon this hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
