And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. 창세기 4 : 16 - 가인의 가족 가인이 주 앞을 떠나 나가서 에덴의 동쪽에 있는 놋 땅에 거하더라. And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. 창세기 4 : 15 - 가인과 아벨 주께서 그에게 이르시되, 이런 까닭에 누구든지 가인을 죽이는 자는 일곱 배로 보복을 받으리라, 하시고 주께서 가인에게 표를 주사 아무도 그를 찾아 죽이지 못하게 하시니라. And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. 창세기 4 : 14 - 가인과 아벨 보소서, 주께서 이 날 지면으로부터 나를 쫓아내셨사온즉 내가 주의 얼굴을 떠나 숨으리이다. 내가 땅에서 도망하는 자가 되고 방랑하는 자가 되리니 나를 찾는 모든 자가 나를 죽이겠나이다. 하매 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. 창세기 4 : 13 - 가인과 아벨 가인이 주께 아뢰되, 내 형벌이 내가 감당할 수 있는 것보다 더 크니이다.
