And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? 창세기 4 : 8 - 가인과 아벨 가인이 자기 동생 아벨과 이야기를 하니라. 그 뒤에 그들이 들에 있을 때에 가인이 자기 동생 아벨을 치려고 일어나 그를 죽이니라. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 창세기 4 : 7 - 가인과 아벨 네가 잘 행하면 너를 받지 아니하겠느냐? 그러나 네가 잘 행하지 아니하면 죄가 문에 엎드려 있느니라. 그의 열망이 네게 있으리니 너는 그를 다스릴 것이니라. 하시니라. If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. 창세기 4 : 6 - 가인과 아벨 주께서 가인에게 이르시되, 네가 어찌하야 분을 내느냐? 어찌하여 네 얼굴빛이 변하였느냐? And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 창세기 4 : 5 - 가인과 아벨 가인과 그의 헌물에는 관심을 갖지 아니하였으므로 가인이 몹시 분을 내고 그의 얼굴빛이 변하니라. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. 창세기 4 : 4 - 가인과 아벨 아벨도 자기 양 떼의 첫 새끼들과 그것들의 기름 중에서 가져왔는데 주께서 아벨과 그의 헌물에는 관심을 가지셨으나 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof.
