Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefor the name of the city was called Zoar. 창세기 19 : 21 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 그가 그에게 이르되, 보라, 내가 이 일에 대해서도 너를 받아들였은즉 네가 말한 이 도시를 멸하지 아니하리니 And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken. 창세기 19 : 20 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 이제 보소서, 이 도시는 도망하기에 가깝고 작기도 하오니 오 내가 거기로 도피하게 하사 내 혼이 살게 하소서. (그것은 작은 도시가 아니니이까?) 하매 Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. 창세기 19 : 19 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 이제 보소서, 주의 종이 주의 눈앞에서 은혜를 입었고 또 주께서 주의 긍휼을 내게 넘치게 하사 내 생명을 구원하심으로 긍휼을 베푸셨나이다. 내가 산으로 도피할 수 없나이다. 어떤 재앙이 나를 덮쳐 내가 죽을까 염려하나이다. Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sigth, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die: 창세기 19 : 18 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 롯이 그들에게 이르되, 오 내 주여, 그리하지 마옵소서. And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord: 창세기 19 : 17 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 그 남자들이 그들을 밖으로 데리고 나아간 뒤에 그가 이르되, 네 생명을 건지기 위해 도피하라. 너는 네 뒤를 돌아보거나 이 온 평야에 머무르지 말고 산으로 도피하라. 네가 소멸될까 염려하노라, 하니 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. 창세기 19 : 16 - 소돔과 고모라가 멸망됨 그가 망설이매 그 남자들이 그의 손과 그의 아내의 손과 두 딸의 손을 잡았더라. 주께서 그에게 긍휼을 베푸셨으므로 그들이 그를 데리고 나아가 그 도시의 밖에 두니라.
