And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn. 창세기 29 : 25 - 야곱이 레아와 라헬과 결혼함 아침이 되니, 보라, 그것은 레아더라. 그가 라반에게 이르되, 외삼촌이 내게 행한 이 일이 도대체 무엇이니이까? 내가 라헬을 위하여 외삼촌과 함께하며 섬기지 아니하였나이까? 그런데 어찌하여 외삼촌은 나를 속이셨나이까? 하니 And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me? 창세기 29 : 24 - 야곱이 레아와 라헬과 결혼함 라반이 또 자기 하녀 실바를 자기 딸 레아에게 여종으로 주었더라. And Laban gave unto his daughter Leah Zilpah his maid for an handmaid. 창세기 29 : 23 - 야곱이 레아와 라헬과 결혼함 저녁때에 자기 딸 레아를 데려다가 그에게로 보내니 그가 그녀에게로 들어가니라. And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her. 창세기 29 : 22 - 야곱이 레아와 라헬과 결혼함 라반이 그곳의 모든 사람을 함께 모아 잔치를 베풀고 And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast. 창세기 29 : 21 - 야곱이 레아와 라헬과 결혼함 야곱이 라합에게 이르되, 내 날들이 찼으니 내 아내를 내게 주소서, 내가 그녀에게로 들어가겠나이다, 하매 And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fullfilled, that I may go in unto her. 창세기 29 : 20 - 야곱이 레아와 라헬과 결혼함 야곱이 라헬을 위하여 칠 년을 섬겼으나 그녀를 향한 사랑으로 인해 칠 년을 며칠같이 여겼더라.
