창세기 32 : 24 - 브니엘: 야곱이 새 이름을 받음 야곱이 홀로 남았는데 어떤 남자가 날이 새도록 그와 씨름하다가 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
창세기 32 : 23 - 브니엘: 야곱이 새 이름을 받음 그가 그들을 데리고 가서 시내 너머로 보내며 자기의 소유도 보내었더라. And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had.
창세기 32 : 22 - 브니엘: 야곱이 새 이름을 받음 그 밤에 그가 일어나 자기의 두 아내와 두 여종과 열한 아들을 데리고 얍복 여울을 건넜더라. And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok.
창세기 32 : 21 - 에서가 야곱을 치려고 옴 이같이 예물이 그보다 앞서 갔고 그 밤에 그는 무리 가운데서 묵었더라. So went the present over before him: and himself lodged that night in the company.
창세기 32 : 20 - 에서가 야곱을 치려고 옴 또 너희는 덧붙여 이르기를, 보소서, 주의 종 야곱이 우리 뒤에 있나이다, 하라, 하니 이는 그가 말하기를, 내가 내 앞에 보내는 예물로 그를 달랜 뒤에 그의 얼굴을 보면 그가 혹시 나를 받아주리라, 하였기 때문이더라. And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me.
창세기 32 : 19 - 에서가 야곱을 치려고 옴 또 이처럼 둘째와 셋째와 또 떼들을 따라가는 모든 자들에게 명령하여 이르되, 너희가 에서를 만나거든 이런 식으로 그에게 말하고 And so commanded he the second, and the third, and all that followed the droves, saying, On this manner shall ye speak unto Esau, when ye find him.
창세기 32 : 18 - 에서가 야곱을 치려고 옴 너는 이르기를, 그것들은 주의 종 야곱의 것이요, 내 주 에서에게로 보내는 예물이오며, 보소서, 야곱도 우리 뒤에 있나이다, 하라, 하고 Then thou shalt say, They be thy servant Jacob's; it is a present sent unto my lord Esau: and, behold, also he is behind us.
창세기 32 : 17 - 에서가 야곱을 치려고 옴 그가 또 맨 앞에 선 자에게 명령하여 이르되, 내 형 에서가 너를 만나 네게 물으며 말하기를, 너는 누구의 사람이냐? 어디로 가느냐? 네 앞에 있는 이것들은 누구의 것이냐? 하거든 And he commanded the foremost, saying, When Esau my brother meeteth thee, and asketh thee, saying, Whose art thou? and whither goest thou? and whose are these before thee?
