창세기 37 : 28 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 그때에 미디안 족속 상인들이 거기를 지나가므로 그들이 요셉을 구덩이에서 끌어올려 은 스무개를 받고 이스마엘 족속에게 요셉을 파니 그들이 요셉을 데리고 이집트로 갔더라. Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.
창세기 37 : 27 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 오라, 우리가 그를 이스마엘 족속에게 팔고 우리 손을 그에게 대지 말자. 그는 우리의 동생이요, 우리의 살붙이니라, 하니 그의 형제들이 만족해하더라. Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh, And his brethren were content.
창세기 37 : 26 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 유다가 자기 형제들에게 이르되, 우리가 우리 동생을 죽이고 그의 피를 숨긴들 무슨 유익이 있으리요? And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?
창세기 37 : 25 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 그들이 빵을 먹으려고 앉았다가 눈을 들어 바라보니, 보라, 이스마엘 족속 한 무리가 향료와 유향과 몰약을 낙타에 싣고 길르앗에서 오며 이집트로 그것을 가지고 내려가므로 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Giled with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.
창세기 37 : 24 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 그를 붙잡아 구덩이에 던졌는데 그 구덩이는 비어 있고 그 속에는 물이 없더라. And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.
창세기 37 : 23 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 요셉이 자기 형들에게 이르매 그들이 요셉의 옷 곧 그가 입은 채색 옷을 벗기고 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;
창세기 37 : 22 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 르우벤이 또 그들에게 이르되, 피를 흘리지 말라. 그를 광야에 있는 이 구덩이에 던지고 그에게 손을 대지 말라, 하니 이것은 그가 그를 그들의 손에서 빼내어 다시 자기 아버지에게 건네주려 함이더라. And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.
창세기 37 : 21 - 요셉이 형들에 의해 팔림 르우벤이 그 말을 듣고 그를 그들의 손에서 건져 내며 이르되, 우리가 그를 죽이지는 말자, 하니라. And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him.
