Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. 창세기 11 : 8 - 바벨 탑에서의 반역 이처럼 주께서 거기서부터 그들을 온 지면에 널리 흩으셨으므로 그들이 그 도시 세우기를 그쳤더라. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 창세기 11 : 7 - 바벨 탑에서의 반역 자, 우리가 내려가서 거기서 그들의 언어를 혼잡하게 하여 그들이 서로의 말을 알아듣지 못하게 하자, 하시고 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand on another's speech. 창세기 11 : 6 - 바벨 탑에서의 반역 주께서 이르시되, 보라, 백성이 하나요, 또 그들이 다 한 언어를 가지고 있으므로 이 일을 하기 시작하니 이제 그들이 하려고 상상한 어떤 일도 막지 못하리라.
