And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; 창세기 35 : 10 - 야곱이 벧엘로 돌아감 하나님께서 그에게 이르시되, 네 이름이 야곱이지만 다시는 네 이름을 야곱이라 하지 아니할 것이요, 이스라엘이 네 이름이 되리라, 하시고 그분께서 그의 이름을 이스라엘이라 하시며 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel. 창세기 35 : 9 - 야곱이 벧엘로 돌아감 야곱이 밧단아람에서 올 때에 하나님께서 다시 그에게 나타나사 그에게 복을 주시고 And God appeared unto Jacob again when he came out of Padan-aram, and blessed him. 창세기 35 : 8 - 야곱이 벧엘로 돌아감 그러나 리브가의 유모 드보라가 죽으매 그녀를 벧엘 아래에 있는 상수리나무 밑에 묻고 그것의 이름을 알론바굿이라 하였더라.
